ASOCIACIóN PRO ARTESANA PANAMEñA

Pro Artesana is a Panamanian non-governmental organization dedicated to the capacity development and marketing of Panama’s female artisans. By helping artisans develop and refine their skills, design and create innovative products, and link to new markets, Pro Artesana aims to expand the economic opportunities available to these artisans. Founded in 2006, Pro Artesana builds upon earlier artisan development programming and works with over a dozen organized artisan groups nationwide. This translates into more than 200 women artisans and over 700 beneficiaries of this work, many of whom live in extreme poverty.
